I wasn't able to explore the museum, i just visited the third floor's private function room with traditional costumes for Asia Society's book launch of the Indonesian children's book (first international translation) in Filipino, Clara Ng's "Si Dru at and Kuwento ng Limang Kaharian" Illustrator Renata Owen and Filipino translator and educator Nanoy Rafael was present during the launch to explain the process of creating the book and translation to our native tongue. Broadcaster Atom Araullo was also present to read some excepts from the book. Thank you Adarna Publication and Yuchengco Museum for the invite.

Took a half day leave so that I could join Urameshi-ya and while waiting I gave myself an hour to explore the nearby Yuchengco museum. It is actually 1 block away from my office but I only knew that there was a museum in RCBC just last year.
The Yuchengco Museum is open from Monday to Saturday from 10am to 6pm. Museum entrance fee costs Php 100 pesos for adults and Php 50 pesos for students. The museum entrance is near the monument/smoking area of RCBC building. It has four floors containing artworks and paintings. The security guard advised me to start my tour from the fourth floor as the stairs are a bit high if I would climb it from the first floor up to the next floors. Here is a summary of what to expect inside the museum
Fourth Floor - A portion is dedicated to the memorabilas of Jose Rizal and the half of the room belongs to the Yuchengco family memorabilas, particularly Alfonso Yuchengco
Third Floor - displays the suspended garden and some artworks and pieces made up of mixed materials. It also has a Samsung Digital gallery for Ben Cab's work (not sure if this is just a temporary display)
Second Floor and First floor - More paintings from various artists
The museum is just small but there are great finds inside. You can finish touring the place in an hour or two depending on your pace. I recommend this to everyone who is in Makati who would want to experience a different kind of view instead of malling or being stuck in traffic due to rush hour.

Because last october i missed the change to visit his museum in baguio because my parents dont allow me. So despite of my 4hrs of sleep.. We went to yuchengco museum just to see and experience samsung gallery for they gave tribute to Benjamin Cabrera also known as ben cab ️
I was in my 3rd year when my handsome humanities prof introduce me us to one of the finest national artist in the philippines. His works was truly world class and he truly has a talent.
Still looking forward to visit ben cab museum in baguio and metropolitan manila.

I like the idea that this museum pay homage to our national hero -- Jose Rizal, thus the name Rizal Banking Corporation (RCBC). The Yuchengco patriarch made Rizal his role model, so, most of the things displayed in the 4th floor of this museum are Rizal's books, diaries and letters to Josephine Bracken and his mother.
This museum also displays "anting-anting" and how it works.
It also has a modern touch in it because of their Samsung gallery, wherein you placed the samsung tablet in front of a painting and it will scan all of the paintings in that floor and there were some animations added.
And what makes this museum stand out? The work of the Masters such as Amorsolo, Manansalang, Ang Kiok, Bencab and Botong Francisco. It really amazes me how their art clearly tells a story and a message to everyone who will look at their works. You can really feel their emotions through every stroke and colors of their brush.
So if you have time, go and pay this museum a visit. The Php 100 entrance fee is worth it, trust me. 🏼

They allowed also to take a picture with some artwork.
Those kuya's also are so approachable.
Kinda sad lang ksi they dont have na "rizal cafe"

All in all. We enjoy so much!
