Went back here cause the food was so good the first time around. Parking was way better at around 8pm.

Order the same steak teppan at medium well. It was really good especially with its sauce.

Salmon, Tuna and Cheese Sushi is a must. 128522

The pork katsu with veggies in the middle was just okay.

Ive been through wilson street several times and this place was not "eye catchy" except for the loads of customers and the traffic that it cause, so one time when we saw a vacant parking slot, quick decision and yuujin it is for dinner. Take note that its quite hard to find a parking space around the area as you would be in competition with nearby gym members and the diners of this place.

So this place was packed as always, one quick look at the menu and you know its not as expensive as some japanese resto, we ordered salmon tuna and cheese sushi, such a shame that tuna is not on stock but i prefer salmon anyways, it was goood. Not bad for P225.

Beef Teppanyaki on Yuujin Sauce was superb, up till the last drop of sauce it was yummy.

While the gyoza with grind meat and bell pepper was surprisingly good. It was not our first choice but due to out of stock of first choice item we resort to this one but i think this was a better choice.

Service was good, cooking time not too long. Taste was really really good. So apart from some items not on stock and parking space, im willing to give this a 5 stars. 128522

The dark horse of Japanese sushi bar and restos. Not well-known at all (as far as I can tell) but always a pleasure to visit when hunger pangs for quality sashimi need to be addressed posthaste.

First off, the parking is limited to parallel street parking. There are parking attendants, however, to assist you in finding parking spaces at adjacent establishments. They always pull this off everytime we dine here at night.

I advise anyone dining here for the first time to order the refillable homebrewed iced tea. It tastes homebrewed and the sugar syrup is served separately so you can adjust the sweetness level of the drink. Good move here.

Then there's the food. Go with the deep fried salmon skin and tell me there is a culinary god somewhere for inventing this without the guilt of pork fat. Order the Rock n Roll maki (pictured above) and do away with the soy dip for once. I still have not found (to date) something even remotely similar anywhere. It's not even iconed on the menu as a 'must try' but they have a clear winner here.

The tuna and salmon sashimi are above par than most; in thickness, in freshness, in serving size. Price for everything is fair. Accepts Mastercard and Visa.

Came here for some tempura fix but was wowed away by their Maguro Teppan (tuna steak)! Sooo good!! Will definitely order this again! Photo attached is their tempura soba because we quickly devoured the tuna dish. :P

Straightforward Japanese cuisine that is delicious and affordable. I like the beef teppan with shrimp fried rice. Rock and roll sushi (tuna and salmon) is awesome. And their homemade iced tea is great too. However, go somewhere else for dessert. Their options aren't that good.

Ordered their maki sushi and katsudon!

I super love their katsudon. Not at all dry and super flavorful as well. It comes with miso soup which was equally good!

Service was just average.

One of the best Japanese places in Manila!!!!!

MUST TRY:

-steak teppanyaki
-yasai itame
-ebi tempura
-japanese fried rice (i forgot how they call it)
-deep-fried cheese salmon maki

P.S. I'm a fan of tempura soba but their version of it was not so good for me. My dad liked it though. But that will not affect my overall rating for this resto. This is really a good restaurant.

I've been passing by this Japanese Restaurant in Wilson St. for years yet I've never eaten here 128514 Parking being one of the main reasons I guess...Anyways, finally was able to try it last night 9786️ Yay!

It's a house that they turned into a restaurant, the place is simple, nothing fancy but it's clean and well maintained. Servers were friendly and knew the menu well. Prices were not bad either.

This here 128070🏼 is their Beef Tenderloin Steak @365 (Teppanyaki) and it's one of the best I've ever had! 128525 The meat was so tender & tasty! Really really good!!! 128055

Also tried the Hiyashi Soba (Cold noodles) @265 - Generous serving, okay for sharing if you're not too hungry or if you have other dishes to try 128514

Their Ika (squid) Sashimi @235 was superb as well, none of the rubbery texture, good solid chewiness all the way 128522

Will definitely come back more often to get my Japanese food fix 127843

Our visit to Yuujin was unexpected but we've been wanting to visit the place for so long. We ordered our Japanese favorites - Salmon Sashimi, Spicy Tuna Maki, Ebi Tempura, Yakiniku Teppan and Oriental Fried Rice. The Salmon Sashimi came first and I was glad it tasted good and fresh. The slices were also generous, it looks thicker than other sashimi offerings in other places. Their maki and tempura both were just okay. It wasn't as tasteful vs. other Japanese restaurants but it wasn't that bad either. The meat in their teppan dish was delicious but I didn't appreciate the sauce that went with it. It gave me that umay feeling after. It's actually good that their meat tastes fine even without their special sauce. I also hope they start offering wagyu versions of these! Their fried rice was yummy also. It looked heavy because you can easily spot the pork chunks on but it didn't feel like it after eating.

My overall experience was good and I'll definitely go back to try other dishes.

Unassuming Japanese place along Wilson Street. Very, very good rolls, sushi, and sashimi. Notable items would be their Rock n' Roll and Sunrise rolls, virtually all sashimi items. and oh their ice cream are the Big Scoop brand. That translates to superior ice cream.

Had my lunch today here with a friend! When I arrived the place was not so crowded. Waited for my friend to arrived around 10min.

As usual, my love for sushi always satisfied my taste buds128525. Food arrived quickly. Attentive and smiling crews all over.

It's not so pricy but food has good quality.

I hope this place is just near my place128532 but need to travel from Makati going here in San Juan just to tried this popular Japanese cuisine. But it's definitely worth it.

For sure I'll come back again!9786128525

Celebrating Friday...after a "hard" week at work, the weekend! 128516

We usually just passed this place, because it has always been difficult to park! Today was different, we got a break!

We had miso soup, Kani salad, Ebi Gyoza and Tenderloin teppan. All good, but I expected better.

There are other items on the menu that look interesting, maybe I'll be back to try.

Our waitress looked a bit problematic, but she was efficient.

I think this visit was ok...could be better next time?

Not particularly happy with the creamy spicy salmon sashimi (Nihonbashitei pa rin, please!), but the crazy maki behind it was quite good and each piece was huge.

What our favorite would be, though, is their beef in Yuujin sauce! Okay, I totally made that name up because I completely forgot how they call it, lol. The slices of beef were so tender, and each bite exploded with flavorrrrr~ "Mapapa-rice ka," as what my companion commented, hahaha

We also tried their tempura ice cream, which only comes in vanilla and ube flavors. The serving was too big for us two, and I thought it just tasted so-so.
