That awesome fulfillment you get right after you triumphantly discovered something that nobody else knows. So it started out as a question that turned into a plan for my birthday.

The wife and I took our little girl with us to get some burger fix at Z Burger. Two words " Frigging Awesome" not even sure if we can consider frigging a word but what the heck right?

The place is quiet, simple and very-burger-like, yep you read it right, the place does look like your neo traditional burger place but without the hanging steam punk or americana memorabilia scattered around the place.

Once seated we were handed menus by our server, as expected the menus were peppered with burger offerings and a bunch of sides - but wait! While going through their awesome burger selection we happened upon their penne selection as well. Now that's a bit weird penne and burger? but after seeing awesome reactions coming from the other patrons I guess the penne was delicious.

We ordered 2 overloads each; an overload is a meal set with fries and onion rings that go well with your burger. My wife ordered the Jalapeño Burger (which had grilled jalapeño slices, mozarella, chedder cheese, mayo, mustard and a hint of tobasco and barbeque sauce) and I ordered the 2D Burger (which is a double layer of 1/3 pound pure beef patty that had all the trimmings burger fans love the most) aside from the burgers we ordered a platter of poutine for our daughter (not expecting that their servings are man-sized servings) yes, you got that right! The servings are man-sized!

The verdict: The burgers were cooked to perfection, and even if they don't tell you, you would know that it was placed in the oven for a few minutes to give the moza cheese a little bit of that gooey goodness. We washed down our meal with their signature frozen red tea. Oh yeah, I would want to say thanks to Z Burger for teaching my little girl how to sip from a straw!

We will be back for more!!!
