Food lovers flock here to get an array of meals that are all grouped together in a perfect compound of harmony.

When my friend and I visited the area in the morning, some of the stalls weren't open. It was in a literal tiny compound with multiple stalls around the area. Almost each stall had their own type of seats, so the whole thing was pretty diverse. There was even this rooftop seating area, but was closed at the time.

She told me that the place was way more active at night, with tons of people coming over, friends and family alike. So I made due with that was open and got myself some pasta and a chocolate shake whilst my friend got some chicken and a green tea shake. The food was superb, awesome serving, really presentable, and affordable too! I came back and tried some of their friend chocolate balls and oreos, which was absolutely heavenly. One of my favorite stalls has to be Bagnito because their bagnet is on point!

If you and your friends wanna go on a food trip, or experience some kind of "street dining' experience, I really suggest the Z Compound!

Did some catching up with friends and old colleagues on a weekend.

I forgot the name of this exact spot, but it's inside Z Compound. We were seated upstairs, balcony area.

What I liked about this place is they allow you to order food from different establishments there, and it's okay to eat it even if you didn't order the food from where you're currently at. 128077

Nothing special about the food, it's just fine. I liked the crowd, though. Gives you the young gen vibes.

Oh, btw, I loved the milkshakes! 128522128077128512

To all food hunters out there, if youre looking for a place similar to the Maginhawa streat but without worrying too much about long lines and waiting times- i suggest you drop by z-compound. This spacious and cozy go - to food hub is the bomb.

A very nice place to chill out with your friends. 128077128079128525128108128109

Hijo d' Pita is located at Malingap Street(the other version of Maginhawa Street) Hijo d' Pita- Nachos is a bomb. It is really delicious, served with chili beef and bacon strips topped with lots of cheese, beans, and corn. While the shawarma served in Meshwe( also a resto in The Z) is kinda new taste for me, maybe bec it was my first time to try a purely labanese version of shawarma. 9786 #loolooexplorerpackgiveaway #loolooapp

If your pigging out and lazy resto hopping I recommend this place ambiance is great not a typical place to hang out. I felt i was just at my backyard. I love The Backyard because of their pastrami. I was craving for a sandwich and they satisfied my craving super delicious and worth the money you've spent. Stoners was great my bf enjoyed his fried fish fillet. We also enjoyed Mexican Pita was overwhelm by the serving of their nachos and was suprise that it includes a pitcher of ice tea. Food price is between 150-200 serving is good for 1-2 person.Tip if you go here make sure you have a big room on your tummy.

Solid food trip! Came to Z for a night out with some of my dearest friends. Had Pizza from Backyard, Raspberry Iced Tea from Chamba Juice (good for sharing!), Sisig from BBQ Zone and Shawarmas from Meshwe. Everything was so affordable and delicious! If you haven't been to Z, nako..you're missing a lot! Super chill place! Usual hangout spot! 128151

Since we already tried the StrEat in Maginhawa, we went to Z Compound, which was established earlier than the more talked about StrEat.

What we ordered:
Raspberry bowl-80
Bacon mushroom melt-105
Bagnetto Pork Binagoongan-135
Cheesy meatballs w/ wedges-135

We tried these four meals from 4 different stores. Aside from these, there are also stores that offer viet cuisine, lebanese shawarma, katsus, pasta and pizza, and beer. The raspberry bowl is really great especially for sharing :)) also, you may want to try the pizza store there, the pizzas cost 230-255, good for 3-4 pax and my friends say that their pizzas are 128077128077128077

The place is open. You can sit anywhere and the food that you ordered will be delivered to your table. You do not have to wait standing in front of the stores. However, sometimes the food gets sold out.

Overall, I recommend this place if you want to chill out with your friends and try new food.
