This review is supposedly for Daniel's subs and salads but I couldn't find them on the location. (Probably no one has created it yet) But my love for Zen Tea's Autumn Milk Tea with add on plenty of pearls became more alive as this subway sandwiches shop opened just beside them. They are actually located in just one shop.
It is my second try to binge on their subway sandwich which has Italian ham, sweet ham and pepperoni and basically all the veggies minus the onions, pickles and bells peppers so the flavor would only concentrate on the honey mustard and garlic mayo plus the kick of jalapeños and the soft chewy white wheat bread!
I LOVE that my wintermelon tea complemented the sandwich!

If you are looking for light and healthy snack, with a simple cozy, warm ambience, ZEN place and great customer service, I highly recommend this place!

Never liked milk tea... Until 2015! Zen Tea is my favorite, of course, being just around the neighborhood (plus near the office). I looove their Chizkeyk (Autumn) with pearls. Staff are really nice. I also like the place. There are sockets and free wifi. Good place to study. Never tried hanging out here though. Parking could be a problem (as it is for all Maginhawa food places).

It's one of my favorite places wherever we go. While waiting for the StrEAT to open and since the weather is hot. This place is a good way to chill for a second. Metallic is one of our favorite drink,it's good plus it's affordable

I always love Zentea. I like my NaiCha to be on the milky side that is why I love Zentea's NaiCha. Today, I tried their Yogi with green apple and it did not disappoint me. Zentea is a good hangout place to chill and to have movie marathons with friends and your significant other because this place is packed with so many sockets. This can also be a study place..just bring your earphones/headsets as the music in this place can sometimes be not helpful when you are studying.

While having late lunch at Peri-peri, Ian found a drink for me. It's rose milk tea! It was too sweet but I still really liked it. The floral flavor really blooms in your tongue, particularly after you get used to the sweetness.

He said he already asked them to reduce the sugar. When we go back, we'd insist that they really cut down the sugar. Also, I always prefer to have no pearls, but apparently, they're part of the order. Still love the existence of rose milk tea for P85.

My favorite tea place. I go here because of their PERSONALITEAS! I always order the Metallic Personalitea. It's my favorite among all the flavors. It's so refreshing. Other flavors that I order are Three Berries & Creeper. The prices are fairly cheap.
Their milk tea is not that cheap tho, but it's also good. I have yet to try more.

This branch is still quite small despite the expansion.

We already tried lots of milk tea but this Zen tea shop is the best milk tea store. I really love their autumn tea. It's the best.

I've always wondered what or who their inspiration is for the names of their drinks. Kindly enlighten me if you do know.

No where I order (so far I've ordered in Regalado, Maginhawa and the one beside St. Luke's), their drinks are consistently delicious.

You should try the Three Berries since it's insanely addictive. Haha. Make it a Yogo if you are fond of Yogurt drinks. The blueberry Yogo also tastes quite nice and didn't taste artificial. :)

I really have a lot of favorites here, but I think I'll narrow it down to two:
Horlics (which is the first Malt Milk Tea I really liked because it captured the real taste of Malt. A bonus is that it reminds me of Maltesers. Haha.) and Chizkeyk (don't be put off by the name. Haha. It's their version of frothy cheese on top of your drink which can be paired best with Horlics or Autumn).

Soi is also a must try. I was surprised to see my parents (who are picky soy drinkers) drinking it with much gusto. There are a lot of ice, however. Boo.

A drink I didn't like was Altitude, probably because I'd prefer to drink Almond Milk tea that isn't too overpowering.

What I also love most about Zen Tea is that you get to drink delectable concoctions for a price that is worth it, especially for students like me. :))

One more thing is they have the best egg pudding in all the milk tea houses I've went in. Do try it when you get the chance. :)

Each time I visit a tea place, I make sure to buy the most common or basic tea they offer; for me to have a chance to compare it with others. This time, I ordered Wintermelon. It was okay, but it's not the kind of tea that I'll be craving for. Perhaps, I should try one of their flavored iced tea next time.

With regards to the place, I find it very relaxing and comfortable. This is a good place to read a book or chill out with a friend. Though, I must say that the seats are limited and the parking space is kind of a problem too.

Surprisingly, even if the price is below the competition, the milk tea taste can compete. I always get the Horlicks flavor.

I love the choices in Zen tea, it's not the pure "milktea" choices. And they offer flavored iced tea as well. My favorite is their three berries yogo.
