Read good reviews of this restaurant and decided to try it here for lunch. Not a big fan of the ambiance. It was a bit dark for my taste and everybody was smoking everywhere (would suggest a nonsmoking area for those of us who don't smoke).

But the food...I would say because the food was so yummy, I would give Zola 4 stars. The baby back ribs was so worth it. Hahaha.

Stayed here for 2 hours during my Baguio trip.
Got one of their dessert with mango (sorry forgot the name) and 2 bottles of cerveza negra. The dessert was good. It's like an ice cream sandwich topped with mango slices drizzled with chocolate! 128521
There were only few people around 1am. They have several tables and couches. Service was kinda slow and I had some difficult time getting the crew's attention because of the loud noise from their T.Vs. They have power outlets, therefore, I just get my monies worth by charging my gadgets. Wahaha

This resto is more like a bar than a cafe. We went here to eat breakfast earlier and it's disappointing. 🙄 We chose a table in the veranda because the few people inside were smoking. There's a lot of food choices to choose from their worn out menu. 🤔 I chose the american pancake with egg and bacon, my friend chose Filipino big breakfast. The price is cheap so its taste. Bacon doesn't look and taste like one. We asked for ketchup but they gave us tomato sauce! 128514 Our bill was P350. Still, not worth it. 🙁

Okay so here's the dirt on the dish I ordered. Tom Yum soup is okay as its spicy as intended but where is the coconut milk? Tom Yum always have coconut milk. The baby back ribs are pork not beef. What a letdown. Barbeque spiced pork ribs leaves that chili hot sensation on the lips. Its okay but could add some salt. Like I said this place needs some ooomph.

Mid range bar along session road. food and low to mid range priced food and drinks. Could better serve clients by upgrading payment services (credit and debit) cards. Its 2015 not 1985.

Place and ambiance is a 4 star. Food review coming up in a few minutes.

The Nachos is one of the best I've had in my entire Gastronomical Adventure history! Why? Well, the Chili con Carne is promising. It does not cheat you with extenders. The tomato sauce is full bodied, thick, spicy and filled with real tomatoes. I believe you can request it to be extra spicy or less spicy. Although it's just right for me, and I have a tolerance for spicy food. By the way, here's a trivia. Spiciness is not a taste. We all know that our tongue can only detect sweet, sour, salty and bitter. We've experimented on this since we were in middle school armed with cotton swabs (Pinoy term: cotton buds) and various kitchen condiments. The Japanese believe that there is a fifth taste, which is the Umami, but I won't go into that. Spiciness, on the other hand, is a pain. It is detected by the pain receptors in our tongue. So people with a high pain tolerance are good at eating spicy foods. And you can train your tongue and brain to this.

Moving on, the Fruity Dive did compliment the Nachos. It is a concoction of orange juice, with slices of apple and orange. I have no idea what the recipe is, but it taste pretty much like how a fruit punch would at wedding parties minus the vodka/tequilla.

Probably, the best tasting pizza is here at Zola. We ordered one of their bestseller "Grandslam pizza". And it really is yummylicious! Crust is soft, not so thin with creamy white cheese fillings all over and all my fave toppings you can find in a pizza. Plus their banana-strawberry yogurt shake is also tastefully good. This resto/cafe is open for 24/7. And serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks. They also serves hard drinks at nightime. I'm pretty sure to go back here from time to time.128515128523

I came here on an early morning, around 5AM, and ordered breakfast. My eyes caught the French Connection on the menu and thought it must be your typical French toast. To my surprise, they served It with a twist! My toast was covered in cinnamon and it was very scrumptious! It goes well with my black coffee and comes along with a few bacon strips on the side. I just ordered an additional egg since breakfast for me isn't complete without egg. For a detailed review, please follow my blog

Pork Delight Burger
I've been eating this for an hour and I still haven't finished it! I feel so full! Pork delight is right! You have your pork patty, ham and bacon stacked with lettuce, tomato and cucumber with a side of crispy potato wedges! Grrr for delicious! Did I mention oozing cheese?

The ambiance is good, whether you're dining or drinking. Although the only alcoholic drinks they serve is beer, I would recommend the Cerveza Negra. For your pulutan, order the Pork sisig! Another plus points to this place is that it is open 24 hours, so you can also get breakfast here. Try the Sausage and Egg breakfast. Or get a sandwich!

Nice place to hang out, very accessible coz it's just around the corner of Session Rd, BUT, Cigarrette smoke is everywhere the place! I hope they would think of putting up exhaust fans!

Zola is a restobar/cafe located along Session Road. The interior looked appealing so we decided to go there. I was surprised to see that they had cheap food! So my expectations weren't that high. Despite that, the food still did not reach my low expectations. I ordered formigiatto pasta and it tasted like melted Eden cheese. I didn't even get to finish the food. I guess Zola is a great place JUST for drinking and not eating.

For dinner, me and my friends decided to hit Zola Café in Session Road - and it was probably the best decision we've made the whole day.

Tired and worked up from a long day in Baguio, we took our ukay shopping spree finds and headed up Session Road for late dinner and since Zola Café is open 24/7, there's no reason to panic even though it was already 11PM.

We ordered some baby back ribs, chicken a la king, the ultimeat pizza, chef's salad, club sandwich, fish and chips, the breakfast platter, and some rootbeer floats - everything was satisfying and cheap. Imagine a plate-load of rivs for only 150Php. Everything else costs less. Fantastic, right?

Although we had a small conflict when we ordered some brownies and they only told us it wasn't available after 20 minutes of waiting and we replaced the order with some churros which was weirdly unsatisfying. I suggest you don't order that.

The place was pretty cook too! Lots of tables ready to accommodate tons of people and there was no problem giving a big group like us one long table that would fit up to 12 people.

So if you're going on a food trip in Baguio, add this to your list.
