I didnt expect this place to be very big. It can almost consume your whole day just to finish all the sites inside this zoo. I enjoyed every bit of the trip, although it was just a bit crowded during our visit as there was a field trip of some elementary students.

I like the mini cart they have which you can ride for free to travel from different locations inside the zoo. Although you have to wait a bit once in a while.

You can also experience up close encounter to all animals inside the zoo which was fun. Although, do prepare some spare money besides the entrance fee as you need to pay extra for some activities like taking picture with an owl, feeding the animals, etc.

Some of the animals can even be touched like the camel and you can even feed it. You can also have an upclose encounter with the tigers but be careful not to get pee'd by the tigers as the smell (according to the guide) can last up to 4-5days even if you take a bath daily! To get a closer toger encounter at the safari, I suggest you avail of the raw chicken. There will be a feeder joining u in the jeepney to feed the tiger.

There is also a restaurant and some small food stalls selling drinks and snacks inside but for a higher cost and of course no bringing of outside food inside the park.

I guess the only downside was the long line for the tiger safari ride, but while waiting there are food stalls and lots of seats so you dont have to stand while you wait. They also have some sort of queuing system so just wait for your group to be called. What i just didnt enjoy was the area where stuffed live animals were displayed =.=

A summer getaway for my families.. 1st time to be here but its the 2nd time to encounter with the lions face to face. A great way also for our children to physically encounter and interact with different kinds of animals. 12800512801012801312805212801812803797289925️.

Premise:
Summer family getaway in Subic! First Stop is Zoobic Safari.

Tools:
MetroDeal vouchers for 6 adults - 299 each
MetroDeal vouchers for Zoobic Buho Grill - 399 each

Part 1:
Thanks to tips from friends, loolies and Waze, we left the metro at 5 am, we arrived in Zoobic at 8:30. Just in time for the opening. The parking area was still empty at this time. The line to get entrance tickets was short (3 people before me), but they had a lot of questions (so did I) that held up the line. A second window could have helped, or at least an assistant outside the cashier. And because we had vouchers, the transaction was fairly fast.

Part 2:
Entrance to Zoo. We were told that we were going to take a picture against the green screen and it was optional and free. Gullies that we are, we let them take our picture, with tiger roar poses pa! Of course, one printed out 5r copy is 295 pesos. Not a good way to start the tour - i felt like being robbed- even though they kept on telling us that it was optional. I barely noticed the amazing white and orange tigers by the entrance because I just wanted to get out of there.

Part 3:
Zoo! Yey animals! Since it was still early and I think we were the 1st party to enter the zoo, some parts are still closed and we had to ask the Kuya if the aviary was open. Upclose and personal with Hornbills -- Love birds that eat birdseed (10 pesos) on your palm -- Camels that eat dead leaves and photobomb you -- restless bearcats cougars donkeys and snakes and a lot more. The family had fun taking pictures on the cut out posters.

Part 4:
Tram ride and the "forbidden cave". I loved the tram! It was open and big for the family to be all together. It's just dusty on some parts of the ride. Forbidden cave: its ok.

Part 5:
Tiger Safari Jeep ride: Staff will ask you if you would want to feed the chicken. The chicken, though, would cost 200 pesos. We opted not to anymore, since we have a small kid that might get frightened. But the tiger got close to our Jeep too in search of chicken, just enough for a good close up.

Part 6:
Savannah tram ride + Crocodiles: We were at the last part of the tram and did not realize that the tour guide was giving out info, unfortunately his mic/headset can only reach 5 people. On the next stop where the crocs are at, My nephew got to tease a few crocodiles with a piece of chicken - 50 pesos.

Part 7:
Zoobic Buho Grill: the next Mcdonald's here is at least a few miles out (just kidding, its a lot of miles) So, its a good thing that I bought vouchers for Buho grill. The vouchers were 600 worth of food and drinks, i got 2, which is a good thing because the set meal that they serve that is worth 600 is good for 3-4 people. There's a few slices of pork chops and grilled chicken and ensaladang mangga. And a pitcher of iced tea per set. We just added a bowl of sinigang na hipon.

Part 8:
We had a picture with the tiger! And it's printed on a mug.

Overall it was a funtastic experience. Kids had fun, kids at heart had fun, it's only the budget manager that had a worried look hahaha

Clean bathrooms ^_^

It was a great nature tripping with my friends but the highlight we were expecting disappointed us because the tigers are full and we did not get the chance to feed them

Getting a personal close up with the tigers was spectacular. but they stopped feeding the tiger because they were already full so they took out the tiger and the jeepney ride to their home was so awesome. Feeding the tiger with chicken was the highlight. Quite surprise with the number of animals here. But they still need to improve many things to be as wonderful as Singapore Zoo safari.128521

2nd visit and given we started the tour a little late' 2pm!! But this was a bit of a joke! The petting zoo was side passed all together' a lot of the areas we passed two years back.... nope to this time around' then at the tiger enclosure one was bombarded with insane noise of some virtual roller coaster' last please don't say your about the environment while none stop honking china made plastic crap and cheap drinks and snack!! The area is littered with leftover of these items' sad decline of a once fun spot' want be back anytime soon!

There were a lot to see here and I think KIDS would definitely enjoy the tour.

We had the set meals. The inihaw was good but i think its not for good for 4. And there were a lot of flies and they werent doing anything about it!

tiger safari ride was ridiculous. It was less than 5 minutes! And there was only one tiger out(but youll see more in the cages and a baby tiger too if youre lucky). You have to pay 200 for the chicken that the guide will give the tiger. We thought it was a whole chicken. It was just a wing. The tiger looks amazing but i was kinda worried coz he was really thin;(( make sure you buy chicken so the tiger could eat :( and i dont think the tiger will come closer without the chicken.

All the other animals seemed healthy so thats kind of a relief.

It was pretty boring for my age maybe, there's nothing new except the mini arrow shooting range. Just 10php per shot.

There werent any tour guide to talk about facts for our group. so it was basically just a walk in their museums. i think I gained zero knowledge. If you have kids make sure you have a tour guide.

And that thin tiger really bothers me. :((

Pretty novel experience! We got to ride the modified jeepney which took us around a small open field, where the tigers were being kept... The caretakers kept the energy up by dangling a piece of chicken in front of the tigers, who subsequently jumped on the vehicle and tried to claw their way inside with us! It's the real thing, y'all!128540

We also got to take a picture with a baby tiger... Super cute! 128568 the animals seemed well-kept and healthy, which was a relief...

I'm glad we have this in the Philippines... Very near Metro Manila too!128576128570

I'm sorry Zoobic but you are not fun at all.

I guess I'm not a kid anymore because the entire time we were at Zoobic all I wanted was to go home.

They were very nice and they will tell you everything you needed to know. People go by Families. So families were clustered into groups and you get a 15 minute briefing. At the start of the tour is a parade of animals, a few indigenous people dancing and a lot of animals running and flying. You'd be amazed by some of the things these animals can do. You can go around the park either using your own car or riding their tram wherein you have to pay at least 200 php i think? Or 50 php? I'm not so sure. They'll mostly show you museums and the only part I liked was with the tiger but then the chicken you'll buy to feed the tiger, an assistant will feed it to the tiger. So its just like you bought the tiger a chicken to be delivered by someone else. The tigers were lovely. They also have like some sort of a crocodile farm and you'll also go hiking. So no slippers! And make sure you bring a fan. It'll be hot. I think we paid 500 per head here. :)

Ok, first thing is - you have to bring or do the following:
1. Umbrella
2. Shades and sunscreen
3. Wear something cool and light
4. Bring lots and lots of water

Vendors sell bottled h20 for 35-40 bucks. Their twin popsies ice cream costs 40 bucks, overheard also that their magnum ice cream is 80 bucks, talk about harang sa presyo.haha

Once you enter the premises to buy tickets a staff member approaches you and explain the attractions, 495 per head for adults and 395 for kids and add 50 per head for the tram fee.

Now on to the attractions, luckily we had a very funny and knowledgable tour guide so I enjoyed his antics specially when he was conversing with the foreigners in our group.

So we first went to the reptile section showing the pythons, snakes, etc. Next we went to their zoo showing lambs, camels, 1 male lion, birds, monkeys, ostrich, etc.

After the zoo you now ride the tram, which brings you to another location which I believe is the highlight which is riding in a caged jeepney inside the tigers den.lol my wife was so nervous, i intentionally sat behind their staff who was holding the chicken to feed the tiger. I could feel the tigers breath when he was eating the chicken in front of me while my wife was pulling my shirt and me away from the tiger.haha

After this, you then ride the tram which brings you to the close encounter wherein you enter a 1.5m walking space and to your right is a long line of caged tigers. Wifey and my bunso did not go in so it was just me and my panganay.lol was nervous myself since some tigers where growling loudly and i was very alert since I was watching their tails, since they pee to mark their teritory, unless you want to get peed on and stink for 3 days.hahaha asked my daughter 3x if she wanted to enter and she answered yes 3x, brave little girl.

After this we rode the tram again and went to the ostrich farm but did not go down since they are aggresive, and went to the fossils and bones area. After this went to see the aeta presentation then last stop was the croco loco. So many crocodiles. You can buy chicken and feed them using a fish rod. And the walkway to the exit you can see them beneath your feet. If you are brave enough you can actually poke them with your finger but be ready to say goodbye to it.hahaha

That ends the zoobic safari adventure, but they do have new attractions like the night safari, the lions ride similar to the tiger jeepney ride.

Sadly we were not able to start the animal show, after the safari we were only able to catch the last 10mins of the show, too bad. If i'm not mistaken they have 3 shows per day.

Overall We had fun, but of course i won't repeat this next month or 6months from now unless i have guests who want to experience it.

One of our favorite places to entertain our friends and foreign guests. Entrance fee is 500 but that is inclusive of all the attractions including the famous and exciting Tiger Safari. You ride a modified jeepney into a giant cage full of tigers. You have to pay an additional P200 per whole chicken to feed the tiger. I recommend buying 2 whole to make things interesting. 128513 The alligator feeding was fun too.

Can't wait for their Lion safari to open soon!

Huge place. The entrance is around 500 without meals. As far as I can remember, there is a separate fee for the jeepney ride. Heard that they opened their "night safari" already. I hope they maintain their bird cages because they already look old. Nothing much to see unless you really are an animal lover. Lots of tigers. A 2.5-hour drive from manila. Kids will definitely love this place. Good to visit for like 2-3 hours.
