Zubuchon is the best lechon in Cebu! 128525128523128061

But aside from lechon, they have a lot of food variations.

My favorite is their Grilled Scallops! It was fresh and delicious!
It was topped with grated crunchy cheese which added texture to the scallops! Yummy!

Kamias shake is a must try. Its perfect partner for their lechon.
"Ma-papangiti ka sa asim at sarap eh!" 128523

Duhat shake, bit different but it was good too. But beware, its a bit "mapakla" but masarap pa din.

Tho their specialty is lechon they have lots on their menu to choose from. It brings back memories of old traditional authentic Filipino foods. Made me remember Nanay's cooking at home.

We started with kalabasa soup ,creamy and delicious. Crispy fish tacos the best appetizer I had for a long long time , sarap nia talaga with the ensalada! Not even oily ,when I asked they said its fully sun dried kaya pala. For sizzling , we had shrimp with lechon. Sinigang ribs, one sip pa lang sa soup alam mo na me gabi yummy at super lambot ng meat almost fall off the bones na!

Must try tho walang picture kc naubos ko agad is their kamias shake unbelievable but true healthy juice from kamias, saw many Koreans having them too. Servings are big enough for 2, value for money.

What's a trip to Cebu without trying their lechon? 128055

Hello famous Zubuchon! And I'm glad I liked their lechooooon. 10084️ We also ordered their sizzling fish fillet and pumpkin soup (not in photo) 128522

I found out that they have different prices. For instance if it's near the airport, their prices are more expensive by a hundred bucks more so we're glad we ate at the one in Escario hehe kuripot! Nonetheless, I don't think the quality of their lechon suffered!

I also loved the fact how they allowed me to charge my dying phone by the cashier's area when the socket near our table wasn't working. They were even the ones presented to have my phone charged by the cashier's area! Cebuanos are really really good people! 128522 I hope people in Manila are just as good though hehehe 9996

Rating this visit 10084100841008410084️ just because I wasn't satisfied with their pumpkin soup. I found it bland 128532 But as for the lechon which was the bida of the meal, it's an overall 1008410084100841008410084

9:00am-11:00pm on Sundays. We came 9:15 and they said they weren't done with the general cleaning yet.

I wasn't too happy. I guess I was expecting too much, given the rave reviews. We ordered the lechon, ribs sinigang and ensaladang talong. The ribs were melt in your mouth but the broth was too salty. The lechon was good, not spectacular. And the talong salad didn't show up. I followed up 2 times for it before I decided to just cancel the order. The best review was for the mango shake which my son said was the best that he had tasted.

This is where I first tried Lechon here in Cebu.. I'm not really a fan of eating Lechon, and I don't think I'll ever be.. Haha I just tried it for the sake of trying... Anyway, going back, there's really something about the skin of the Lechon... Must be the way it can easily be separated from the SQ. And yes, it's crispy and tasty as expected. I think I really have to try another restaurant for comparison... A friend recommended CNT.. I might go there this coming weekend..

I also tried Chicharon Bulaklak; the Sinigang na Hipon was really good! Then there's the salted egg mixed with onions, tomatoes and a fish -- it tasted yummy. And then there's the pansit, which was really oily... X_x

For refreshment, I had Kamias Shake and it was surprisingly good! At first it tasted really sour, but after mixing it, it turned really good! I just never thought Kamias can be turned into a shake! Haha

But the highlight of my food adventure here was the Leche Flan.. It was really sumptuous! And melts in the mouth! Ahhhh heaven! So far, this is the best Leche Flan I have ever tasted! I think there's cream in it.. I definitely fell in love with it! I just hope it would be the same the next time I go there..

Not the best lechon in the metro but definitely, one of the expensive on the list. I don't like their dinuguan, it was the worst!

Another guilty pleasure when I'm in Cebu. Deadly yet heavenly. No need to put Mang Tomas-like "sarsa" because its already delicious! I also love the aroma smell of the herbs they used.

Their lechon is pretty good but I can't say it's the best. I wasn't able to try other lechon restaurant in cebu. I didn't expect their lechon to be good because people said that it was expensive and it doesn't taste that good but for me I had a good experience in this restaurant and the prices are fair enough.

Yes, i totally understand you hating on me because i failed to take a picture of the amazing lechon i had. And for that, i apologize.

Zubuchon does not taste as salty as regular cebu lechon. Still, for it's affordable price, i really am in no position to complain. The pig skin was nice and crispy and the meat was just perfect. Sin at every bite. + if im not mistaken, they deliver nationwideeee!

Little backstory as to why i'm giving them only 4 stars though... We were covered in paint splats(from the baseline party for sinulog) and they refused to let us in. We asked them to let us eat outside and after much contemplation, they agreed. I half get their concerns about getting paint all over their resto but they were the only ones not allowing "painted" people in the entire area and that made them a total buzzkill.

"That's discrimination! They're not letting people of color in!" To quote one of my friends. Haha.

Delicious and savory dishes all partnered with lechon. A new twist to kamias-their kamias juice. A very accommodating staff and clean/bright ambiance. The price is just right.

A must visit for me!

Lechon, monggo soup, iba (kamias) shake and turon for dessert. 128525128525128525

Their lechon is not as salty as Rico's but still very flavorful. Skin is thicker and crunchier. Mix of vinegar and soy sauce as dipping sauce enhances the lechon's flavor. Yum!!! It is morr expensive though than Rico's at P280 (1/2 kilo).

Monggo soup is P190 but only good for 3. Thicker in consistency than Rico's. I like Rico's version better.

Their iba shake is also a must try as it cleanses the palate making you want to eat more. 128513

The turon came with dulce de leche on the side. Caramel-like consistency but surprisingly very light and not too sweet. Another great one by Market Man.

Still torn between Zubuchon's and Rico's lechon but Zubuchon is more expensive by P30-50 on a per item basis. Zubuchon also has more items in their menu for those who don't fancy lechon. Knowing Market Man, his menu is definitely tried and tested.

-1 11088 for giving me P130 peso change of coins!
