We were walking by the beach, and stumbled upon this small cafe in Station 2. We decided to get the brazo de mercedes (PhP85) and chocolate cake (PhP105). The brazo is not too sweet, and the yema has really thick consistency. We all enjoyed this one. We also tried the chocolate cake, which is their bestseller, and found this uncharateristically not that sweet, but amazingly good as well. The view is awesome, of course!

So, we just wanted to find a spot to relax and be a little bit out of the sun for a moment and tried Zucchero since there weren't other customers around, they've got a good spot plus the cakes really looked inviting but sort of doubtful at first. I mean, I'd never thought there would be a demand for cakes like on a beach, let alone the choices that they offer.. So city type! So this brazo took me by surprise! Man, it was really good! The meringue was a bit dense which is how I like it. Not too airy and boring and did not tasted too eggy. The custard or yema was also thick and really rich! So creamy and dense! A little too sweet but tell me where the hell I can find a brazo that's not too sweet and I'll show you my pet unicorn 128527. Went really well with our brewed coffee and my beautiful view. Totally looking forward to try their other dish and cakes here in manila! 🙃🙃🙃

The cafe has a great view from the second floor of the beach, and also a nice breeze, if you're lucky. Their sisig and bulalo are worth trying!
